• NO COMMISSION - NO FEE - NO INTERMEDIARY - FREE SERVICE
There are NO commission and NO fees charged either by us or by the hotel on your bookings. Paris Hotels Direct is a completely free service!

Hotel owners post their availabilities and special promotions themselves directly on Paris Hotels Direct. Because hotel owners prefer to sell direct, they have an incentive to post their best offers on this site.

• REAL TIME AVAILABILITY
Rooms offered for booking and their prices are posted online directly by hotel owners under their sole responsibility.

Use the "Paris Hotels Direct Online Real-Time Booking (instant confirmation)" box on the home page to search availability at your dates. After you click on "Display availability" button, you will see the list of all hotels with availabilities at those dates. Special offers, like last-minute promotions, will also be featured on this list.

To add more criteria to your search like area, hotel category or maximum price, click on "Advanced Search".

If you prefer to just send a normal e-mail to the hotel, click on "Information and web site" and then click on the e-mail link on the hotel web site.

• CITY TAX
City tax ("taxe de séjour") is compulsory: it applies to everybody (except for children younger than 13) and is collected by the owner of the accomodation. The amount of city tax varies according to the hotel classification. City tax cannot currently be more than €1.50 per person per day.

Room prices quoted by hotel owners on their web site may or may not include city tax. If city tax is not not included, city tax will still appear as a separate item when you make your online payment.

• TO FINALISE AND GUARANTEE YOUR BOOKING
In order to finalise and guarantee your booking, you will use a secured online payment system (Availpro software based on technical platform developed by Crédit Industriel et Commercial, a large French bank with 3 million clients, 24,000 employees and $150 billion in assets, plus SSL encryption by Thawte).

Most hotels require online payment for part of the total booking amount. The balance due will be payable after arrival. A few hotels require online payment for the total booking amount. Before making your payment, it is advised to read carefully the terms and conditions applying for each hotel by clicking on the "Terms & Conditions" link.

After you have finalised your booking, you will receive instantly an automatic e-mail confirmation with all the details including the balance due, if any. Print this e-mail and take it with you to the hotel.

• CANCELLATION OF AN EXISTING BOOKING
If necessary, you can cancel an existing booking made through the online instant booking facility and get your money back. Just click on "Cancel an existing booking" on our homepage and follow the instructions. Please note that a small banking fee will generally apply in this case.

• MULTIPLE LANGUAGES
The booking process is also available in French, Spanish, German and Japenese. Just click on your desired language flag to activate it on the homepage. Most hotel web sites are also featured in French, German and Spanish and a few are in Japanese.
